This study focuses on comprehending some of the aspects about God’s eternity in São Tomas. He talks about the question of the eternity of God in the first part of the Summa Theologiae, the tenth question. The eternity concept acquires itself throughout the knowledge of time. Such as to the knowledge of the simple things gets through the knowledge of the composed things, and the knowledge of God’s eternity is acquired through the knowledge of time. Time is the enumeration of the movement one second before and one second after and characterizes itself by own succession. In a not moving endowed being, which, in fact is always the same one, there isn’t one second before and one after. This comprehension derives the idea of eternity. So, what is totally immutable doesn’t carry any succession, and, because of this it doesn’t have either a beginning or an end.

The Dominican master doesn't talk about Paradise in his works like a place in the future, because his point of view is not eschatological. In fact, for him there's no a way toward a future happiness, but a return to the origin. In Paradisus anime intelligentis, Eckhart defends the superiority of intellectus and God Himself is defined like it, while the esse (being) reports himself almost exclusively to creatures. The man, to realize his deep calling to be unum with God, has to come back to Him.

From the perspective of the transcendental concepts of being, beauty has been submitted to occupy a place that has promote discussions on its legitimacy among the other transcategorial concepts. One aspect of this debate reflects the importance of the beauty in the world as a way of privileged access to understanding of being. Along with the perfect Unity, inescapable from the platonic conception of Ideas, beauty is in the medieval scholastic an order that shines forth in the diverse multiplicity of bodies. In this way, presents a formal intrinsic quality that allows it’s to transmit to perception – sensorial and intellectual – the Intime frame which is the ontological structure of the world. This paper points some distinctive notes of that symbolic nature in the way that is considered under the Bonaventura conception of the world.
